Mattel honors sorority with special Barbie
Alpha Kappa Alpha, the oldest sorority of USA , is going to fête its hundredth anniversary shortly with pomp and serious aims.
In honor of its service Mattel has created Barbie for this occasion.
Its design will be presented next week at the anniversary celebration of the sorority, in Washington DC .
This grand event is the right place to introduce a special Barbie for a social club of women who are amazing personalities and leaders, Elizabeth Grampp, marketing director says.
The outfit for the doll is going to feature evening gown in pink and green, the Alpha Kappa Alpha colors. One can purchase it for $50 from Barbie websites and from sorority as well.
